Hyper-sized turntablist action without the turntables. Before glass-munching their way across the globe, Lucas Abela’s early musical exploits revolved around turntables powered by industrial motors.

They spun not only vinyl records but grinding bits, saw blades, vegetable-cutting devices & humming bowls, played with skewers, knives, swords & springs converted into giant styli. The turntables became increasingly modified until the original playback machines were almost unrecognisable.
